  • OWL Rung 1 - Week 1 Results Drum roll.....

    After 1 week of OWL Rung 1, today is my day to weigh.

    Last Tuesday morning I weighed 226...

    and this morning I weighed...226!


    ughhh.

    That's a big bummer considering I still have SO much weight to lose.

    Sorry!! I am in a similar place and have decided to avoid the scale for a few weeks. I do feel like my clothing is fitting better.

      momof3chicks is right. Are you taking body measurements?

      The scale won't move every week and that's perfectly normal. Don't get disappointed and just keep following the plan correctly.

        I'm not giving up. I feel too good on this WOE to give up.

        I just expected more since I have such a large amount of weight to lose. Going to continue on OWL rung 1 for a while and mix up different veggies.

        Since the scale didn't move, I don't know whether I can make a determination about the green beans and/or the avocados I was testing this past week. Not sure whether to remove them from my diet or to go another week with those two veggies without adding anything new.

          Avocados are not a veggie... But if I were you, I would not add more than one food per week, so that if something stalls me, I'd know what it is.

          In any case, sometimes it takes more than one week to test a new food or a new carbohydrate level, because weight loss may pause for reasons independent of our menus.
