I'm on OWL rung 1 and still adjusting to an increase in my veggie-intake. Last night I realized that I hadn't eaten much in the way of veggies yesterday. Some, but not much. I waited a couple hours after dinner but still wasn't hungry. Nevertheless, I ended up eating a small serving of asparagus just to get more veggies in my body.
Here's my question: in a situation like that, am I better off not eating anything more since I'm not actually hungry, or is it better to get the veggies in me for carbs/nutrition? Eating when not hungry strikes me as counterintuitive, but I do want to make sure I'm eating as healthily as possible.
Thanks!
