  • Exercise

    It really is a habit. Today is a "rest day" for me - but I keep thinking "I should jump on the bike before I make supper" and "Maybe I'll pop that pilates DVD in before I...". Its kind of funny - I've never exercised regularly...and now only 8 weeks in, I'm having a hard time taking a day off!

    What a great habit!

    240 - University grad weight - Met July 29, 2009
    213 - 50% of the way to goal - Met October 21, 2009
    Onederland - Met December 23rd, 2009
    180 - High School grad weight - Met May 5, 2010
    163 - No longer obese______
    136 - No longer overweight (yes, I know this is lower than my goal weight)

    Good for you! I have to force myself to exercise because I can't stand it--I only tolerate it because it's something that has to be done....like a Pap smear. That's why I get rid of it first thing in the morning.

      Pap smear?????? What kind of exercises ARE you doing???

      May Challenges 2010
      Push-ups: 450/800
      Abs: 850/1900
      Squats: 650/1200
      Lunges: 500/1000
      Strength: 490/1200
      Running: 50/100 km

        Didn't say I *love* it...but it is becoming a habit I "get it over with" right after work most days...then the rest of the day is "mine". I can't even imagine exercising before work...not a morning person I guess. I have to admit the 30lb loss in 8 weeks is a heck of a motivator

              Personally I must admit I do love to exercise -- and this is from someone who has done anything and everything to avoid exercise my entire life. I am adding more variety of exercise this past week and am getting use to having other muscles being sore in the morning....just don't bother me when I'm biking!!!
