I was so happy when I moved to the berries rung just when the berry season was getting going, but I have always been a little heavy-handed with the cream in the past. This time I have started to use clotted cream instead of double cream and because it is so thick, I have to spoon it onto the berries rather than just "aim and pour"!
It is also very satisfying because it has such a high fat percentage.
