  • Help! Chinese food kicked me out of ketosis!

    I ate Chinese food and asked the waiter to order beef and broccoli with no sugar or starch! Sure enough, it came out smooth and glossy looking which tells me there was some starch. Once I started eating, I couldn't stop. Than the whole day I was having cravings. I kept eating low carb stuff but too much. I ate nuts and cheese over my daily allowance.

    Now I feel miserable. I gained 3 pounds (some might be water retention from MSG). I hate having these hunger pains.

    Does anyone have any tips how to ward off hunger until I get back into ketosis again?

    Get back on plan as soon as possible and drink extra water to flush your system. Dr. Atkins also recommends taking 500 mg. of chrominum to help stop a binge.
