    Hi all!

    I am supposed to be consuming about 30 carbs right now, but I am 5 short. I already ate 2 tbs peanut butter today, and I was on nuts for about two weeks, and moved onto fruit this week. (Didn't eat any fruit today though. Every other day the first week.) Can I eat an ounce of walnuts in the same day to get my five? Anything wrong with that?

    You do not have to add 5 net carbs with every rung. The exception is exactly Rung 3, because there we only add 1 oz of nuts (or 1/2 oz for cashews), which is less than 5 net carbs. Did you eat your veggies?

        Yes it is one of the nuts Atkins highly recommends because it has so much fat. I am allergic to it though. But rung 3.
