  • Another few pounds gone! My 20 day check-in

    Hello!

    Since I'm now in OWL, I've been experimenting with different foods from OWL rung 1 and 2. I'm enjoying myself and continuing to lose weight steadily. The loss isn't as dramatic as it was in the beginning, but a loss is a loss.

    So, today when I weighed myself, I weighed in at 253 Lb. That is an additional 6 Lb loss from my last weigh-in. I'm so excited and can't wait to move forward.

    I'll update everyone again in 20 days. My next weigh in is Oct 25.

    Congratulations on your weight loss. Keep up the good work. I too am working my way up rung 1. I am weighing in on Friday. I hope that my weight loss is at least 2 pound for the week.

      Once you get through the first 2 week induction period you won't have the same dramatic weight loss you were having - no one does! Congratulations on your weight loss through OWL!!! "Weigh" to go!!! Keep up the great work.

        Congrats and what a great idea for a '20 day check in'! I looked around and there are a TON of atkineers that say the induction period stuns you and jolts you into an initial heavy and fast weight loss, then moving into owl, it slows down. But that is where your strength moves you to a New Way of Eating! Mine has slowed down and I am just moving into owl.
        And then there are those who get discouraged and just give up but you have a GREAT attitude! Yes a LOSS IS A LOSS! YAY! Keep it up!

          That is great! Keep up the good work.

          I find OWL to be very helpful. My weight loss may have slowed a little bit but the options it gives me makes such a difference.
