  • Time per rung in OWL?

How long should i stay in a particular rung, before I move to the next one? (This is assuming that I do not gain weight from a current rung.)

Also, if my ACE is only 35 or 40, would that mean I can only progress so far up the ladder?

    Thanks.
    ~Lisa

Re: Time per rung in OWL?

There is no specific time you should spend on each rung. There were rungs where I spent a week and rungs where I spent months. Remember that you reintroduce a food at a time and you don't eat it more than three times a week.

If your CCLL is say, 30, then you keep your net carbs below 30 in order to lose weight. It does not mean you cannot climb up to Rung 9. You don't have to eat from all rungs every day.

Thanks so much Georgiana. Those were my main concerns about OWL, and I'm relieved to know I can eventually go up to the higher rungs if I do it right.
