Dairy rung/recipe ingredients

    I'm in OWL rung 1 but I've been making recipes that call for heavy cream or sour cream. Rung 2 says small portions of heavy cream or sour cream, which it is per serving. Does this mean I'm actually doing the dairy rung? I'm just confused because during induction you are allowed a very small amount of heavy cream.

    I have no problem being in, or moving up to, the dairy rung, I just want to be sure which rung I'm currently in. Thanks!

    If you are consuming more than what is allowed on Induction, then yes, you are OWL Rung 2.

    But introduce new/more foods carefully, so that you observe your reaction to them. And only introduce one new food per week.

      By the way, how much cream is per serving in those recipes you've been making?

        Hi Georgiana,

        Mostly, it's in the danish I eat ~3 days per week, which has 3 Tbs sour cream. One batch is 6 danishes, I eat no more than 1 per day.
        I also put 1-2 Tsp. of heavy cream in my coffee every day.

        Twice this week I made scalloped "potatoes" which I poured in 1/2 cup of heavy cream. I split it with MIL so my portion had 1/4 cup.

        Sometimes I make quiche, which calls for 1 cup of heavy cream; but I'd eat 1 slice which is 1/8 of the quiche.
