  • is it ok to skip

    at the moment im on the berrie rung ,and im just wondering is it ok to skip rung 5 and 6 as i dont really eat anything from the Legumes rung and i dont really drink anymore either ,i used to drink regular every weekend a bottle of scotch but so far this year ive only drank 6 times and not at all since starting atkins ,i was going to treat myself at xmas and what do i do if i skip rungs just carry on up the rungs or stay with what im on for a few weeks?

    Yes, you can skip a rung.

    You can move ahead to the next rung ... and add 5 net carbs of that rung ... adding a new food 3 times a week ... and adding some from the rungs you've already done on the other days.

    Remember that most of your net carbs should be coming from Induction vegetables at this point.

    You can, if you want, stay on the rungs you're at, and just add 5 net carbs.

    Did you mean with alcohol?

    If so, be careful ... drinking for the first time can pack a whollop ... and it might not be the "treat" you hope for.

      LOL, J is right. I have noticed that without starches to absorb the alcohol, I am definitely a cheap date these days. One glass for me!
