  • Think it's time for me to be here now.

    Hi,
I began Induction in July at 116kg and now sitting at 94kg with a goal about 85kg.
    I'm a 50yo male, office job but I walk about 30min a day.
Very pleased with the results and I know I should have commenced OWL by now but guess I was happy with progress and didn't want to rock the boat.
Think it's about time to move on from my induction foods.
    So...what now?

Start by adding 5 grams of carbs in the same veggies you have already been eating. If you have already been eating 25 grams (lots of folks slip into Rung One without really realizing it) then add Dairy and go to Rung 2. Look at the Stickies at the top of this forum for more information on what is included in each rung. You should ad one new food at a time, and add the same on every other day for several days to see if you have cravings or a slowdown. Then add another new food, etc. until you have tested the foods in a particular rung that you are likely to eat regularly. Then when ready, move to the next rung. That's the short form---best way to OWL is to read the book for the total story.

    HW 298
    HW (this time) 248
    GOAL ONE 228
    (take 2)
    GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
    GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
    FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

      Welcome.
Great place to be OWL. The great experiment starts. Can I or can I not (eat that carb thing) ?
