Hi everyone, I am VERY new here. I was wondering about the Low Carb tortillas, they are 18 carbs (11 fiber) so 7 net carbs. I find when I introduce these in my weight plateaus but I LOVE them. Does anyone eat these and successfully lose weight? I love them I love them I love them!

What brand is that? I have actually never had any low carb tortillas - may try one one day.

Re: Low carb tortillas
Thanks for your answer, I know they aren't for induction. I was just wondering if anyone else has used them before in a low carb lifestyle (during OWL and up) and if they had success.
I can't remember the brand, but they say Carb Balance on them.<a href="http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/ticker/"><img src="http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/ticker/tickers/8lhuxe4h7xusnvxz.png" alt="http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com Ticker" border="0"/></a>

Re: Low carb tortillas
I am sure some members do use them when they reach the grains rung/level of OWL with no problems but you will have to test whether your body can cope with them when you get that far up the carbohydrate ladder.
If you are looking for something to act as a wrap you could use the revolution roll recipe but make into a flat plate shape rather than pile it into rolls. If you microwave 1/3rd of the recipe instead of using the normal ovenbake method they should turn out a bit 'breadier'Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: Low carb tortillas
Liv,
There are/were a few different brands. La Tortilla Factory has wheat and soy, some with green onion or other herbs added. There is/was a lc corn tortilla with about 7 grams, but I cannot locate them or remember the brand. I think both taste good and are a good substitute even if not on a lc diet; however, the wheat/soy ones are noticeably different in taste than the real thing.

Oohhh, I have got to try Linda's recipe! Is that induction friendly? Oh nevermind, I just saw she has an asterisk next to it, meaning induction friendly! YAY! Good thing I just ordered golden flax meal!
