  • How about Hummus?

    Went to dinner at a Moroccan restorant....and just had meat with a little hummus to dip in.....a table spoon probably (i couldnt just eat the meat by in self) I ofcourse skipped the rice...
    but is hummus ok? i see its filled with fiber.....so i think it was all right.

    Current weight: 179 (05/10/10)
    Goal Weight: 145lbs
    Mini-goal weight: 190lbs (out of 200s) MET APRIL 12TH, 2010!!
    Mini-goal weight: 175lbs (will look decent)
    Mini-goal weight:160lbs (will be super happy have not been this weight since middle school)

    Im married, 2 sons (ages 2 and 1.) Want to loose as much as I can before my May or June trip to Morocco.

    Chickpeas aren't allowed until Rung 6, and it's tough to say if any other questionable ingredients were in the hummus.

    EDIT: And it was probably made with tahini (sesame paste), which isn't allowed until Rung 3.

      hummus is made from chickpeas and sesame paste, which makes is acceptable for OWl Rung 6--the legume rung, and even then it is only allowed in 5 net carb amounts.
