  • Why I love this SO much!

Since yesterday I lost 2.2 pounds! I have learned so much about how my body reacts to food in the last few weeks. For example, I have a low metabolic resistance to weight loss, but I really can't go much above 30-35 carbs per day. Plus I actually feel much better when I keep the carb count lower than that. I figured that since I had a low resistance I would be able to eat more carbs, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm on OWL rung 3 because I skipped dairy rung 2. I already have to keep a close eye on my cheese intake and there wasn't really anything else on that list that excited me too much. At the nut rung it's nice to be able to use almond milk in my smoothies and have a little peanut butter now and again. Water is the biggest factor in keeping my hunger and cravings in check. The more water I drink the better off I am. I probably drink around 120-130 oz of water a day (if not more). I am definitely a convert for life. My energy is high, I never worry about what I'm going to eat, eating out is easy, and I'm seeing results on a pretty regular basis. I have .2 pounds to go until I reach 20 pounds lost. Love this!!!

That's Great! It really is funny to see how different foods effect your system.

I can't believe how bloated I was. It will be really interesting to see what foods caused it when I add them back.
        Mini Goals
        139- Met 2/10/10
        135- Met 2/25/10
        130- Met 3/21/10
        129- So I can say I am in the 120s- Met 3/29/10 128.7lbs yay
        125- 4/20/10 5 to go!
        120 Goal!-

good for you. Don't forget to measure so you can still see you are shedding excess body fat when the scales don't reward your hard work.
what are you doing for your mandatory exercise part of your atkins? the more we workout the higher our CCLL goes.
