I am sick, do all med have carbs in them?

Ive been taking the theraflu hot liquid packets, those arent working that well but ive been drinkin a lot a day anyone know the carb count for these? also i can barely make myself eat since im so sick, any ideas would i could eat? All i have been wanting is high carb food like pasta or pizza or something like that. But it seems that i have a really really bad cold or the flu. Any ideas what to eat or take that wouldnt affect me in a bad way?

What about hot broth? Scrambled eggs?

Is theraflu an over the counter med? Why don't you call the company if there is not info on the package? If it is a prescription, call the pharmacy.

Hope you feel better soon. I had the flu in NOV. Dr. prescribed Tamaflu.(sp?) Took a long time to get my energy back.

i checked the ingredients and not the last but second to the last ingredients is surcose so im guessing it does have some in it . lol i dont think i could call the company right now my voice is almost completely shot. but to be on the safe side im getting the tablets brought home soon. but the drink does help soothe my throat and stuff so maybe jsut alternate them out ..

You might try an herbal tea called "Throat Coat".

look in the diabetic section of your store and you casn find the exact same meds in a sugar free formula.

What to eat try making some hot chicken soup or beef veggie.
you could puree some cauliflower or cooked greens to help them slide down easy.
creamed spinach is a goos sore thoart swallowing food.

make popcylces out of your broth or water to help cool your sore throat.

you could make a cauliflower crust pizza if you really want pizza.

the wanting is your immune system asking for food to help it have energy to fight off the virus you got. Feed it yummy atkins legal foods and then when you are better you will know you can low carb anything any time!
