        OK L,
You had all the right answers. You can make a dinner item that provides leftovers and bring those to work at and heat up for lunch.

This is a recipe I make and divide into 8 portions and freeze. Then I have it ready for future meals. I let it defrost a bit, and Then I top it with some sour cream and green onions. It can be a family meal, with some leftovers, or just made for you to keep for lunches.

          Re: Packed Lunches

Lunch for me is usually left overs from last nights dinner, chicken wings, pork chops, steamed veggies. I bought a few of those divided containers that come in really handy. Right after dinner I pop left overs in the containers.

Snacks: cheese cubes, cucumber slices in ranch dressing, celery stuffed with cream cheese, 2-3 queen olives, sugar free marinated mushrooms, pickles, sugar free gelatin, caesar salad, macadamia nuts (I always measure mine and bag them or I will eat too many), artichoke hearts and hard boiled eggs.

I end up with a lot of containers every day!

              thank you SO much.
you are really helpful!!! that taco bake sounds delish.

i used to be really good at making my lunches for the week back when i ate whatever i wanted, i spose i just need to adapt. lol.

my calorie intake is incredibly low and i'm afraid it's slowed my metabolism. having a hearty lunch should do the trick.

                      Re: Packed Lunches

I usually do the leftovers as well. But I have a different salad so that it's a bit of a change. If we had Caeser salad for dinner, I'll put together a spinach salad for lunch or something like that.
If my son has devoured my put away portions, I rely on tuna or chicken salad, egg salad or the occasional burger minus bun and ketchup.
