Or try this link- you are looking for her 11 in 3 series...It shows how to get 11g of carbs in 3 cups. Scroll thru menu 1, menu 2, etc. She did a lot of work putting this together:
I did some major abdominal exercises yesterday. Aside from that its all been the same.
new to you exercises can cause fluid retention in those muscles until your body learns that new load is theri new normal load. Brook can gain 5 pounds just changing exercise videos because of those new muscle loads.
Jules, you can do this. OWL rung 1 is the exact same as Induction, but you add in 5 net carbs from veggies. That is it! The problem I notice is that it looks like your carbs are way too low and it looks like your calories may be too low as well. Get on fitday and track everything you eat. The extra time spent will make a HUGE difference. Like I said before, I bet your body is in starvation mode if you are around 18 net carbs and too low on the calories. At your weight, you should be around 1800 cals and 25 net carbs for a good OWL.
Also, are you getting all of your vitamins and nutrients? Potassium has the exact opposite effect as salt. They are like Ying and Yang. Us ing fitday, I realized that I was around 9% of my recommended Potassiuma dn that causes bloating. Salt keeps water in your body and potassium kicks it out. Find foods taht are high in Potassium, like Avocado, and add it in. And you water......your liver cannot metabolize fat without water. Kepp it flowing so that your body can do its job. You are on the right path, you just need to adjust a little bit.
You are falling back to induction, because of your fear of the unknown. OWL will work.....just trust the system. Come on, I have "FAITH" in you and I will start to sing again if you give up on this!
Just remember you could gain but still lose in the end.
My body does that constantly. I will lose 1 lb or more than my body will say "stop" and I end up gaining it back and then it goes down again dramatically to the point where I weigh less, AGAIN. Then I note it as a loss and wait for the cycle to start all over again. For some reason my body will lose a lot in a few days but then try to balance out. It's been like this since I went into OWL.
I am in the "gain" portion of my weight loss as we speak. It could be another 3-10 days before I lose again.
I watch my salt intake. I never liked pork rinds either. And I force myself to eat something if I am not hungry. It keeps up the calorie count.
