    Do we treat that like any other rung by having it 3 times a week or less?

    yep all rules apply to all rungs.

    you can skip that rung too if you want. Dr Atkins removed it in the atkins for life book

      I enjoy having a glass of merlot but don't plan on having it all the time.

        once we conquor a rung we don't have to consume that "food" all the time and could just have it occasionally since we know we can handle it as part of our atkins WOE.

          I moved to Rung 5 a couple of days ago, but haven't had anything to drink yet. I was planning to, it just didn't happen. I will soon enough, but for me the rungs are also a time thing. I was ready to move up from four, so I made the move, but I'm not gonna drink just to drink...

          Next mini goal is to get under 300 lbs. Done! 3/8/10
          Next mini goal is to make it three months without alcohol. Started 1/1/10 Done!
          Next mini weight goal is 289. Done! 4/4/10
          Next mini goal is 278 -50 Lbs
          Eventually, I'd like to join the century club.

            Polar...I just noticed in your siggy that you'd like to join the Century Club... you can join now - we are the people who want to lose 100+, not the ones who already have This is a common misconception...
