  • Tired Alot-Would OWL help?

I had posted over in the extended induction forum that I have been feeling tired for about the past month. All blood tests check out ok. I am sleeping fine. Eating close to 20 carbs each day. I drink water as I am supposed to and take Atkins vitamins as well as other supplements.

Do you think if I add more carbs and go to OWL that would make me not so tired?

    Has anyone had this experience?

I really don't know the answer to your question. Are you exercising regularly? That's what has given me tons of energy along with this woe.

Dr Atkins says in DANDR if you are tired or fatigued you need to eat more food Did you do that when I posted it to you back in your extended induction question on the 7th? Somebody else ask about your drinking too but you didn't get back to that topic to let us know you were still having a problem.

Ask you about OWL in there too.

Are you eating enough? That will cause you to be tired if you are not eating enough.

I thin if you are thinking about Owl try it you may feel the increase in veggies helps it did for me I never was able to limit myself to the amt on induction because of the fatigue you were talking about so yeah try adding more veggies and see you can sit on the first rung as long as you need to ....I did find a great deal of fatigue with the low amt of veggies on induction so go for it

At the end of the Induction chapter, Dr. A. mentioned that if you are feeling too tired, adding another serving of vegetables might help.

You've been on an extended Induction. Give OWL a shot. The first thing you will be adding is an additional 5 net carbs of the Induction veggies. If it works than what you needed was to move on.

If it doesn't please see your doctor again as your tiredness might need to be looked at more closely.
