Does anyone know how many carbs are in homemade whole grain breads? I live in a place where you buy bread directly from the bakery and there are no nutrition labels. I am not on rung 9 yet, but I certainly plan on getting there eventually. At least, I hope I can get that far...

Re: whole grain bread
Homemade whole grain breads can have anywhere between 12-25g (or more) net carb per regular thickness slice (the thickness and size of commercial bread slices). As J. mentioned, you really have to know the ingredients and amounts to get accurate nutritional stats. Your bakery might be able to help you.
Homemade bread is definitely better than commercial, factory breads but they are not low carb.

Re: whole grain bread
If you cannot get the information from the bakery I suppose the best way to estimate what carb count to use for a loaf would be to try and find a recipe for home made bread that uses similar ingredients to whatever the bakery says it uses and log the ingredients into fitday.
It would at least give you some numbers to start with.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
