  • Wow.

    I am in the 220's for the first time since college. I had an appointment with a doctor in March to schedule a gastric bypass. I decided to go with atkins and canceled my appointment. I am considering changing my goal weight. I put 200 down as a goal thinking I was aiming high, but I am starting to feel like I could be down into the 180's or 190's within a year. I am less than 2 BMI points away from leaving the obese category now!
    Age-36 years old
    Height- 5'11( I tell short people I am 6'0. they'll never know)
    All time high- 274 (Feb 2010)
    Atkins Start date- 2-26-2010
    Start weight- 274
    1st Minigoal- 250(reached 3-25-2010)
    2nd Minigoal- 235(reached 4-22-2010)
    3rd Minigoal- 219 (that would make me no longer obese)
    Goal- 200

                        F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

                              congrats on morphing your body. I know the joy of leaving that obeses catagory behind. Just wait till fitday no longer tells you that you are overweight!
