  • 3lb loss this week! And another 1.5inch off waist!

    Am so glad I am climbing the rungs and have realised what I have to watch!
    3lb loss probably helped by the fact that I have had a very nasty stomach bug for the last few days!
    Am gonna make one of those crustless quiches today. Will add some brocolli, maybe a few peas, some bacon and cheese of course.

    Sorry to hear about your stomach ache---nasty stuff.

    And I'm happy you're happy about learning what your body can and cannot tolerate. I have a mental list of the stuff I can't tolerate. It comes in handy when I'm confronted with them.

        Very nice. I still haven't quite figured out what does and doesn't work well for me but I am working on it! Great job! 1.5 off the waist is awesome!!!! Keep it up!!!

        New to Atkins but not new to dieting and happy I made the switch from lowcal/lowfat to low carb! I am not starving anymore!
        HW:219/177(Started Atkins)/CW:172/GW:165 5'10" tall 34yr old female, mom of 4, and marathon runner!

          Im certainly no expert and I think I will really see what works for me next week when I start to eat a few more veggies. One thing I did see is that I cant have yoghurt and milk. Perhaps because it effects me or perhaps because I sometimes dont keep track of the amounts! Also I have eliminated coffee.

            That makes sense, I am learning a whole new meaning of "portion control" - CARB portion control lol! Learning an acceptable portion of carb foods is sort of a long drawn out process for me...its different than other plans for sure!
