    Hello all!

    Despite my terrible fear of a slow-down in weight loss, I'm joining you other OWLs here in this tree. I hope I don't fall. :wave

    I lost 10 pounds during induction, and then another 8 in extended induction, but my weight loss has slowed drastically in the past two weeks. I'm hoping that by adding in some good carbs (slowly!) I can jump-start my loss again. According to the sticky and the DANDR I fall between Average and Low Metabolic Resistance, and it helps me to know that possible carb range.

    I'm starting today with an extra cup of cherry tomatoes (which I could eat all day anyway. Yum!) and very much looking forward to seeing how my body responds to this experiment.

    I am also trying like **** to stay away from the scale. I confess to having a scale addiction, but I'm not going to weight until Friday morning. I decree it! *crosses fingers*

    Hey Reve, welcome to OWL :wave

    I've just joined OWL myself and I was petrified. I'm only new and worried, but like you, I've lost around 20 pounds in Induction and Ext Induction and I'm around the average resistance range.

    I was going to find my CCLL first whilst staying on the Veggie Rung, but I've changed my mind. I'm too worried about weight slowing too much, so I'm going to explore each rung, move up and increase CCLL if it's stopping me moving up rungs because I don't have enough carbs to play with.

    I've started with mushrooms. I dont think I'm any good with cheese, so experimenting to see if mushrooms have the same effect. Hopefully it doesn't because i so love mushrooms!

    It's so good to see another OWL newbie!

      welcome to OWL
      just a warning make sure those are actualy cherry tomatoes and not the new grape tomatoes that have been bred for a higher sugar and carb count.

        Yup, these are cherry. But I didn't know that about grape tomatoes! Thanks for saying that. I'd hate to go overboard on tomatoes for Pete's sake! Hee.
