  • Taking My Place in OWL

Hello everyone! I've been hanging around in extended induction for about a month and a half now, and after losing 39lbs I've decided to take my place in OWL! I will not be skipping any of the rungs-(maybe the alcohol rung--just doesn't appeal to me like it used to.) I will be re-reading chapter 14 in just a few minutes to refresh. (I've read it a million times already, I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right)

I am always open to comments and suggestions. I am more than sure that I will have a few questions, but bare with me.

I've been considering this move for a while now, and I think I finally bold enough to see it through.

I guess one of my biggest fears about moving to this phase is that the weight loss will stop, or that I will start to gain :yikes. Other than those two reasons, I could not think of a solid reason for not moving on.

So here I am--!st day of OWL--wish me success! :hug

iyshiaf, you will be fine :nod OWL means "Ongoing". You did very well in induction so I see no reason that you won't do well here.

    Welcome to OWL ha

Hi and welcome to OWL! There are some great stickies here, like not2late pointed out. I was a little nervous about making the move. OWL requires a little bit more 'work' than induction, at least for me, but there are some great benefits including some wonderful new foods, getting to know your body better and finding your CCL. I have been consistently losing 1.25 pounds per week on OWL which is what I was losing on my extended induction.

OK am I reading your ticker right? So you have been on the diet for about 8 weeks and youve lost over 75 pounds? Is this how it reads? Did you start losing before you went on the diet?
