    Hi all since my next rung is alcohol and i don't drink and Iam thinking about skipping the legume rung because beans tend to make me bloated and since iam on the berry rung can't i have cherries or should I wait???

    You can skip rungs. I "sorta" did the alcohol rung. I'm not a social drinker but I do occasionally use alcohol in cooking. So I "did" the alcohol rung using maybe 1 teaspoon of alcohol...

    Soy products are also on the legume rung and technically, so are peanuts. So, unless you have no desire to add soy products, like soy milk, soy flour, etc. you might want to re-consider the legume rung. Also, green peas are on the legume rung.

    Cherries aren't berries (but they do rhyme don't they? ). So if you decide to skip booze and beans, you can try out cherries on the "other fruit" rung.
