  • poor eating habits on induction?

    Hi
    Im not a big fan of cooking , so this is what I had today

    breakfast: 10 slices of bacon (33% less salt, no sugar), 2 hard boiled eggs

    lunch: 1 cup of green salad, 1/2 cup of mushroom, red pepper, cucumber and tomatoes. 5 olives, oil, vinegar, oregano, soy sauce dressing (homemade)

    dinner: chicken wings on the bbq, with franks red hot sauce and bleu cheese on the side.

    lots of water!!!

    There are a few things I would mention. First you need more vegis. 3 cups and they should be spread out thru the day. Also I dont see any meat on your salad at lunch. Your protine probably needs to be higher

      Now what did I tell ya Patty??? You need more veggies - see? I was right
      btw you fat/protein/carbs proportion needs to be 65%/30%/5% or similar.

      but you have been getting better with your meals, so keep posting them for review here

        10 slices of bacon is a lot, I would definitely cut down on that. Too much sodium

          Seems like alot of bacon even though you have to eat till satisfied so ....

          I buy bacon right from the meat cutting place and nothing added to it!!

            Just agreeing with what everyone has said here re: spreading the vegetables through the day, and cutting down on bacon as it has a lot of sodium.
            Great work on the variety of veggies that you are eating...that's excellent!
            I'm concerned that you may not have gotten enough protein as well so plug it all into Fitday and see what it all adds up to.
