Honestly, what I see as being 'wrong' is you skipping meals. You're wreaking havoc with your blood sugar levels and not following Atkins. Remember, no more than six waking hours without eating. If you don't eat enough, you'll put your body in starvation mode making it even more difficult to lose weight. Pull out your book and re-read the rules for induction!

thing is about me eating meals. i followed the book every 3-4 hours or so to eat. thing is when i do thtat i just feel like im overeating. i dont eat unless hungry.the reason i am fat now is cause ive always had a thing with eating cold cereal before i go to bed (bad habit i know) and that is what packed on the pounds. no what i was eating but when.Official Start Date: June 07 2005

Yes, it's only 5 1/2 hrs from when you woke up...but how long since you last ate yesterday? I know if I eat breakfast, I'm not as hungry during the day and even more so at night.
It isn't like you have to eat lots at every meal....you could just pack a few things in a small thermal bag with an ice pack and just have a ham roll-up or string cheese - something small and snack-like.
Even if I am not "feeling" hungry, I still have something small and I find that it helps. It keeps me more alert and focused, but yet I'm not bottoming out and I don't feel like I am starving by dinner-time. It has also helped with my moods (again, balanced blood sugar) and stamina. I have also managed to lose 10 pounds in my first 8 days.....so eating 6 small meals or so a day isn't hurting me any, and honestly I feel better.
I also know, from MY experience, that as I have gotten older my lifestyle has become more sedentary. I worked thrid shift, and sat all night....then came home and slept for a few hours...then lounged around the house all day...and then repeat. Plus I have a 5 yr old and the McDonald's runs never helped. Now I go there for him on occasion, but I don't eat there.

You have a choice here.
You can either do the diet as it is laid out in Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short) and know you are on a plan that works. You may not trust that it'll work, but if you go to the Before and After forum you'll see picture after picture of people it worked for.
or
You can do the plan your way, skip meals whenever you feel like it, play havoc with your blood sugar, and generally feel miserable and be upset when you find your weight isn't coming off like you see it coming off other people.
You need to make the connection that doing Atkins doesn't mean you need to deprive yourself.
It means you need to plan your day so that you eat a breakfast to jumpstart your metabolism into fat burning. You need to eat either small meals through your day, or at least get in the 3 squares.
That's if you want the plan to work for you.
I don't know about you, but I want this weight off ASAP, and if it means I have to eat to do that, well, then...I'm willing to make that sacrifice. So far eating several small meals a day has helped me shed 45 pounds.
And all I'm doing is following the plan as it's laid out in DANDR.
Not completely correct.that is what packed on the pounds. no what i was eating but when
While it's not best to eat right before bed, if you are eating the correct foods in the appropriate amounts you are setting your body up to have a fat-burning metabolism, and that's what's going to help you lose those pounds.
Give DANDR a read through again, especially the part about what food does to your blood sugars.
I urge you to give in and do it according to the book. I have seen many a person try and do Atkins their way, and more often than not they get frustrated, blame Atkins and move on, or they realize that the good Dr. knew what he was talking about.

Try boiling some eggs at night, and they'll be ready for you to eat when you get up in the morning. Some folks are in a hurry, or they don't feel like fooling with cooking breakfast, so boiled eggs are a quick meal. If you have a microwave and some paper plates/napkins, you can cook some bacon quickly too.
Good luck!
