I ate basically the same pattern of food each day.
Eggs for breakfast
meat and vegetables or salad for lunch
the same for dinner
I stayed within my cheese, cream and sweetener limits.
snacks were protein/fat combos.
Just take it back to basics. Get the Rules of Induction printed out so you can refer to them as often as you need to, and also print out the Acceptable Foods list as well so it's handy. :yes
Make sure you have a good variety of vegetables during the day and use Fitday to chart how you're doing. There's a link in this forum.
It's really hard to come up with a menu for someone else because we all like different things. I'd just keep it simple, like what Moochie posted. Induction can be especially trying on some people, so if you're frustrated and trying to make complicated meals, etc., you may get discouraged.
One of my favorite meals is/was to sear a steak in butter, then throw in some fresh mushrooms (or canned) and have a salad. :eating Yummy!
Thanks. This weekend I started back at the basics.
Breakfast - Boiled Eggs
Lunch / Dinner - 2 Cups of Salad or 1 Cup of Vegetables (switch off)
I plan to steer away from Splenda and cheese for 30 days to see if that helps with my stall. I am only drinking water. I have added walking while at work on my breaks. I get atleast a mile, but try for two - depends on how hot it is that day.
One problem with that is some of us like a lot of variety in our menu and if we start eating the same thing day after day, we start to get bored and then, I have this little pity party and fight with myself about adding illegal stuff.
Make sure you still get enough protein in that menu.
