  • Review my menu please

    Carb counts are from Fitday =

    Breakfast: 3 net carbs
    3 eggs
    1/8 cup of red pepper
    1/2 cup of spinach
    butter
    chicken broth
    1/2 tablespoon parm cheese

    Lunch: 3 net carbs
    Chicken Breast
    1/2 cup spinach
    1 oz of cream
    butter
    1/2 tablespoon parm cheese
    1 cup romaine lettuce
    1/4 red bell pepper
    Italian Dressing

    Dinner: 2 net carbs
    1/2 cup of romaine lettuce
    1/8 cup of red bell pepper
    Italian Dressing
    Mayo
    Can of chicken breast

    I am not sure how to get the carb counts and fats up with out adding cheese ( the only one I seem to not stall out with is parmesan) and more veggies. Ideas are welcome!

    Perhaps go to the main page of Fitday and make your food journal public so we can have a closer look.

    You can choose higher carb veggies to up your carb count.
    Go over the Acceptable foods list and use fitday or another carb counter to see which veggies will give you more carbs.

    You don't say how much Italian dressing you're using...are you using too little? Maybe mix it in with some mayo to make a creamy dressing to up the fats?

      Thanks!! I can't do that for fitday as I have the full version on my computer.

      I am changing salad dressings to a blue cheese. Ups the fat but not the carbs though. The dressing is the Carb Well Italian so there is little fat and no carbs.


      I will work on getting different veggies to help with the carb count.
