    If you have a minute, I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at today's menu on fitday and tell me what you think.

    This is the first full day I've put into fitday and would like to know the different things I should be looking for in case I'm missing anything:



    % breakdown is as follows:

    fat: 67%
    carbs: 3%
    protein: 30%

    Looks pretty good..your ratios are just fine...you'll find that they'll bobble around a bit from day to day, but all in all, if you're eating as you should, they'll average out, so no worries.

    I see a few things though. You had some half and half...you need to use heavy cream and not half and half. (I was wondering if you had that at a restaurant in coffee or tea...remember that coffee, even decaf, has carbs and you need to count those too.)

    Make sure to switch it up so you aren't having just lettuce alone in your salad. Use one cup's worth of different veggies to keep your salads interesting. :yes

    And don't be shy to eat the skin on the chicken.

    Other than that, you look like you are doing really good!

      I must have missed this!

      Thanks for the feedback moochie...yeah, I will have to grab some heavy cream....know how Timmy's coffee always take so good? The secret ingredient is 'COFFEE CREAM'....mmmmmmmmmm. I haven't checked if it's got added sugar or not, but if it doesn't, I'm in like flin!

        woohoo! I just checked and it's a keeper I think.



        It's 18% milk fat and has 1.4g carbs per 2Tbsp
