  • May need a checkup.....

    Hi there. I would like to have someone take a peek at my fitday. I did have a bad night on 7-27. Im not sure if I stayed in ketosis and this is my second week stall, or if my body is retaining water from exercising. Which latley Ive done a lot of compared to ABSOLUTLY little as possible before this WOE. I donty like to add salt to anything, and I know a few choices I got while on the run were packed full of it, but at least its not carbs. Any input would be great. Just making sure to make the right choices. I will be staying on induction and not worried about the slow loss, just looking for input. Thanks a bunch!!

    Well...I don't see anything horribly wrong. It looks pretty good. Any chance on getting rid of the asparteme? That causes slow losing in some people, but not all. Another thing that might be causing a slow loss is the fast food. Even taking off the bun and etc because I don't quite trust the fast food companies in what they say about what they do or don't do to their food. But that's just my opinion, not necessarily fact so take it with a grain of salt. How are you doing for water? Also, 2 weeks isn't a big deal. Your body is trying to get used to the new you and sometimes it pauses trying to figure everything out. With the exercise you may be replacing fat with lean muscle...are you measuring? I hope that helps...if nothing else this will get bumped up for someone with more expertise than me! Lol.

      The aspartame is either watered down generic brand Crystal Light drink or diet soda to get the psyllium down. That stuff is just wrong lol. The reason there is fast food is because when we are on the run and I can grab something I think its better than waiting till I get home...afraid Ill binge. Most times I dont expect to be gone so long or always end up on the go. Ive thought of packing things, but afraid meat might not be good if we are gone longer then the cooler can handle. But thank you very much, that was one area I too thought I needed to change. I think the AWESOME amounts of salt in the burgers might have something to do with sweeling. Maybe a little heat/humidity as well. I dunno. I drink water like mad. ANyway, Thank you once again for taking the time to read this.

        heat can cause fluid retention too. have you been measuring? there is a reason Dr Atkins defines stalls as 4 weeks of no loss of inches nor pounds. Our bodies are morphing on Atkins losing fat mass adding lean tissue mass and the water mass is in a constant stat of flux. you can show no scale los and actually shed several pounds of fat iof you added some muscle weight and fluid weight.

        Keep working your Atkins and it will work for you!

          Thanks 2big, I havent seen real inches lost either. Thats why I was kinda curious. I did see a loss today, so maybe I just needed a rest from the exercising. Maybe Ill just go every other day and not every day. It was TOO hot to do anything yesterday, so I didnt lol. Thanks for all your help guys!! This truly is a great bunch of people.

              Thanks jimmie...yeah I figured I could handle doing that myself. Im in here enough lol. I dont know NEARLY as much as the others around here, but I like to help out if I can. Thanks once again!
