  • Was This Ok For Induction?

Yesturday was one of those not in the mood to eat days. I was very tired all day and tried to rest and ge through the headaches.

Breakfast- sausage (not sure how much-Original recipe by Jimmy dean, in roll)
    snack- notta
lunch- tuna w\ mayo & mustard; wrapped in lettuce.
    snack- cheese stick
dinner- I was trying out some things and it ended up to be....

2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts baked for 25mins rolled in 1 beated egg and coated in parmesian cheese then fried in pan w\ olive oil, topped with 3tblspn carboptions alfredo sauce an then sprinkled w\ shredded cheddar cheese.

Im not sure if that was ok to eat but I figured the only things that have carbs was the sauce which was 2 carbs per 1\4 cup and the little bit of cheese that i used and .6-.8 for the egg. It was soooooooo yummy.
I also had about 85oz of water throughout the day. And then I did 55mins of tae-bo.

Im really not sure about the chicken, so any feedback would be appreciated. thanks!

You're not getting nearly enough veggies in, and they really should be spread throughout the day.

CarbOptions Alfredo Sauce is not on the allowed foods list. If it's not on the list, it shouldn't cross your lips The chicken/egg/parm fried in olive oil is just fine, though!

It doesn't look like you're eating nearly enough - and without knowing your current weight/goal weight, it makes that hard to assertain.

Thanks alot for your help Brook.
For some reason I thought dressings, conidments, things like that were ok. I swear I read the book.......guess it didn't sink in! I was having a salad for my lunch w\ cucumbers and then some broccoli with dinner, is that spread out ok for the veggies?
I know I ask ALOT of questions, but I dont want to get done with the 14 day induction and find out that I did it wrong the whole time.
      Thanks again for your help.

Dressings -assuming they have no added sugar and are less than 2 grams per serving - *are* okay. Gotta watch the condiments for the same thing, as well - but you're going to want to stay as close to all natural and the Allowed Foods List as you possibly can.

Toss about 1/4 cup of veggies in with your breakfast too (like tomato/mushrooms/etc in an omelette), and it sounds like you'll be pretty good to go!

Don't just ask "A LOT" of questions, speedy....ask ZILLIONS of them. It's what we're all here for - to help and support each other through the learning process

The Alfredo sauce was good. It's not as full-flavored as regular of course, but its really good.

When it's time, ya might want to check out Bertolli's Alfredo and Garlic sauces. No sugar, better tasting and the price is good too
