  • In need of a menu critique

    Hi everyone!
I only lost 1 lb during induction ( :bang ) so it was suggested to me that I post my menu for critiquing to see if I could be doing something incorrectly. I'd appreciate the help if anyone sees a mistake in my menus or has any suggestion in general! Thanks!

    Breakfast
    2 sausage links
    2 oz cheddar cheese

    Lunch
    6 oz ground beef
    2 tomatoe slices
    1 oz cheese

    Dinner
    2 cups romaine lettuce
    1/2 cup cucumber slices
1/2 can tunafish with full fat mayo

your food choices look great, I don't see a problem with them.
But it looks like you might be pretty light in calories. Are you working out? You will need more calories if you are.

also are you getting in all your water?

hi! thanks for responding! i did actually see there is a board for menu critiques ,sorry to have put it on the wrong board. i'm getting in 64 oz of water but i heard maybe you should drink more than that ?
I also work out only sporadically , I eat more on days i work out.
      Thanks!

Looks good to me. Watch the mayo. I make my own, you then know what’s in it! I have to admit that I ate more olive oil on induction.

Re: In need of a menu critique

i am pretty new to atkins, but from what i remember from the book one suggestion that might help is to reduce the amount of cheese you eat. while i dont think you were eating too much for a normal induction menu, you may still be eating too much for your body. maybe try cutting that down a bit, or make sure you are measuring it to death.
