    Hi Ladies! I ahd a great day today!

    here is my menu for Today:

    Morning: Fried zucchini patties
    1 cup decaf coffee with whip cream ( it DID NOT taste good!)

    Lunch: 2 slices of ham
    2 oz cheddar cheese

    Dinner: Chicken salad w/mayo
    1 cup brussel sprouts with butter

    10 cups water

    hows that?

    I realy do appreciate all of your input...ohh I have to go buy my book because I could not find it anywhere!



    jsj0305~ question was the salsa you where having homemade?

      no way...I am not nearly talented enough for that!! I just mastered deviled eggs tonight..

        ohh see most canned salsa have some sugar...why? who knows! ohh fresh Salsa is sooo easy! I will give you the recipe when you want

            okay this is how I do mine:

            3 tomatoes
            2 jalapeno chiles (less if you don't like it hot or more if you wanna set your buds on fire!)
            2 garlic cloves

            I seal all of these is a foil wrap and put on the stove on a pan. Let them cook until the chiles are soft and the tomato is all squissy make sure the juices stay in the wrap. Once all this is done drain the juice into a bowl and peel the tomatoes, jalapenos & Garlic. You don't have to take off all the black stuff from the burned tomato skin & stuff just most. Then you can either put it all in the blender or do what I do, I have a tomato sauce can that I opened on both sides so I just mush it up with that so it stay chunky. Add a little salt & white pepper and that is all! you can make enough for a week and it will stay good or you can make alot and freeze it in ziplock bags as it defrosts well
