Menu from 10/22-- Please correct me if needed.

  • Menu from 10/22-- Please correct me if needed.

    Breakfast (8:45 am):

    1 egg 0.6 carbs (am I right on the egg count?)

    ΒΌ c. mushrooms 1.5 carbs
    1/4 c. cheese 1.0 carbs
    3 slices bacon 0 carbs

    Lunch (3:00 pm):

    1 hamburger patty 0 carbs

    1 slice bacon (crumbled) 0 carbs

    1 c. Romaine lettuce 1.3 carbs

    1/4 c. cheese 1 carb

    2 T. Ranch dressing 1 carb


    Snack (6 pm)

    3 kosher hot dogs 3 carbs
    mustard 0 carbs


    Dinner (8 pm)
    1/2 oz. hot pork rinds 0 carbs
    1 chicken cup--recipe from induction area (chicken, egg, celery, pimento and cheese)--not too good by the way-- 1 carb
    1 diet Mt. Dew-- 1 carb (Splenda in there somewhere)


    Snack (10:45 pm)

    I tried the "Cinnamon Toast Crunch" trick and it is awesome. Well worth the three carbs--It had 2 T. water, 3 T. heavy cream, 1 packet Splenda, three dashes cinnamon and 1/2 oz. pork rinds or less.


    Total= 14.4 carbs for the day

    Water for today: 178 ounces-- I think I am going to float away, but I figure the more water the better, RIGHT???

    I have a question about your cheese, how many of your 4 total ounces is in each 1/4 cup? volume ounces are not the same as weight ounces as you must know or you would be paniced at already exeeded for the day cheese total.

    Also you exceeded the 6 hr limit to go between eatting with breakfast and lunch.

    the big question is where are the rest of your veggies?

    it is very importantr to lay a strong foundation in induction for your Atkins WOE and those 3 cups a day of veggies are a very big part of it. Pork rind and mountain dew snacks should be after thoughts like after you have eaten your veggies for the day and are still hungry and want a snack.
    Also the majority of your carbs for the day MUST come from your veggies so you need to get busy on them to justify the carbs you already had from other sources!
