    Can someone please review what ive eaten on my first 2 days of Atkins. Im trying to do it right and im gonna go get some salad today.

    You dont seem to be having your allowed three cups of vegetables - check the list to see which veggies you like and add some, either cooked or raw so you are having over half of your daily carbs from them.

    Another thing to consider is the Margarine - which is not on the allowed list unless you are sure it has no transfats (look for the word 'hydrogenated' on the pack)
    Butter is allowed. Margarine should be avoided, not because of its carbohydrate content, but because it is usually made of trans fats (hydrogenated oils), which are a serious health hazard. (Some nonhydrogenated margarines are available in health-food stores.)
    Use butter or oil for cooking instead

      Thanks for all your help...I had a large salad for dinner. Im really not a salad person but with bacon on it it wasnt so bad.

        you do not have to eat those "salad" veggies as salad. you can make soup, roast them eat them with a loc arb dip whatever you want.

          Well done on getting a salad in yesterday.
          I noticed you used the fitday category
          Lettuce salad with egg, cheese, tomato, and/or carrots, with or without other vegetables, no dressing
          to enter it into fitday.
          That description is a bit vague with its phrase 'with or without other vegetables' and 'and/or carrots' , so you are unlikely to get a true figure for that salad.
          Much better would be to enter each item individually - so you are not counting carbs for carrots and can specify which 'other' vegetables you have eaten.
