2nd day induction, how am I doing?

  • 2nd day induction, how am I doing?

    Day 2 of induction, yesterday--Let me know if this looks alright!

    Breakfast

    2 fried eggs
    2 large glasses of water

    Lunch

    Green Salad w/ bean sprouts and grilled chicken on top. bleu cheese dressing
    1 string cheese
    1 large glass of water

    Dinner

    Chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cream cheese in between
    1/2 cup cauliflower
    1/2 cup brocolli

    2 large glasses of water

    I hope that is sufficient! It seemed too easy...

    Looks fantastic to me. A couple of things.


    What did you fry your eggs in? Hopefully butter?

    Did you check the carbs on the "string cheese"? I ask this because the string cheese I get in england is horribly processed and we have to stay away from processed foods on Induction.

    How much water did you have in total during the day? Ie how many ounzes in "a large glass of water".

    But you certainly seemed to have grasped it quickly. And I love your signature quote about not blaming your baby anymore

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      The string cheese had 1 carb, and yeah the eggs were in butter (Light I cant believe its not butter) Im guessing I had 32-40 oz of water? I have a large water bottle with me today at work, so Ill be able to stay on top of it.

        About the 'Light I can't believe it's not butter'...why not butter?
        Generally we stay away from things marked 'light' as they add in nasty things to get them that way. And real butter is so good!!

          Lisa, if you don't have a Fitday.com account you should get one now. I found it to be the best way to monitor your fat/carb/protien intake which should be at 65% fat 30% Protien and 5% Carbs. It really takes alot of the guessing out of if your eating right or not!

            mmmmmmmmmmm that sounds gooood! For a snack once and a while, I take a slice of roast beef and spread cream cheese on it, then roll it up for some finger food! Also, I agree with what Moochie said about the I can't believe it's not butter, cuz it's not butter LOL! Don't do it! Butter is better! Yeah, you really CAN lose weight on this diet eating FAT. Don't be afraid.
