    Re: Need your comments?

Are you eating any vegetables? Atkins says you should eat 3 cups of vegetables on the acceptable list per day.

        Re: Need your comments?

You need to get yourself a copy of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short), sit down, read it and learn how to do this correctly.
The Atkins diet is a plan that gets amazing results, but you have to take some time to learn how to do it right, or you will be compromising your results, and possibly compromising your health, especially if you aren't eating vegetables!

Meat and diet coke...no, sorry, that's not healthy at all and it's certainly not Atkins. I would think you'd be super constipated just having that every day.
Skipping breakfast goes against the main goal of the Atkins diet, which is to keep your blood sugars on an even keel. Eating in the morning gets your metabolism going as well.

Again, get the book, read it, learn how to do this correctly and make the necessary changes so you can brag about how much weight you're losing!

          Exactly what Moochiecat said.

And until you get your DANDR and read up on this way of eating go to the FAQ forum here (link in the blue boxes at the top of the page) and read all the posts with the word 'induction' in the title and plan your meals from the instructions in them.
Then go to the 14-day induction forum and read ALL the stickies there. Over a few days you will be able to learn so much about doing induction properly that before long you will start to be a big loser!!
This will start you off on the right track - but when you get your book make sure you read the reasons why we eat this way to lose weight and maintain a healthy body once we reach goal.
Knowing the reasons for doing anything is halfway to succeeding!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Cream cheese is fine - you can have 3-4 ounces a day of any of the cheeses listed in the 'allowed list'.
All cheeses have a small amount of carbs in them, and Dr Atkins told us to count each ounce as 1 carb (no matter what the true carbcount is).
