    Welcome to your first day.

But you must get your veggies in. Have you read about the induction phase? Also, being a brit, I dont have a "wendys" over here. But I do know what type of place it is. Are the chicken nuggets breaded?

You say lots of water, how much exactly?

I'll get the links for the induction food list for you now.

You need to have some carbs, around 20 grams, per day. There is a sticky in the induction forum about acceptable foods for induction. The closer you stick to the list, the better you will do.

The chicken nuggets really need to be debreaded before you eat them. Fried breading isn't a good idea. You would be better getting a single and tossing the bun.

One thing that some miss at first is that Atkins is a high fat way of eating. You can and should have more fat in your diet, preferably 65% of your daily calories should come from fat, 30% protein, and 5% carbs.

The more variety you add to your food with approved vegetables and different meats, the less likely you will get bored and have cravings.

        Good luck!

The chicken for your evening meal is a good shout, but if you had it with the skin on it would help you up your fat intake.

            Re: menu for today

Have you read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002 (DANDR for short)?
I strongly suggest you do, as it lays the diet out quite clearly and tells you what you can and cannot have during Induction. It explains the why and how of the diet, and it's important to know how it all works.

As mentioned, you need veggies, you need to eat at least every six hours...and judging by the small amount of food you mention there, you just need to eat! That doesn't look like much food to me.

So, get the book, give it a good read...read the stickies in the forums here (14 Day Induction, Main and also visit the Most Memorable Posts forum as well) and learn how to do this the right way, so you can get the best results possible.

Next time you hit Wendy's, get the side caesar salad on the dollar menu or as a part of a combo. It would be great to get a cup of veggies in with your lunch! Also, those nuggets ARE breaded, so definitely not allowed. Fluffyman is right on, get a couple of burgers and ditch the buns (no ketchup, either). Everyone else has given great advice also! You definitely need veggies.

I order the junior bacon cheeseburger(or 2) from wendy's no ketchup extra lettuce to help hold it when I toss the bun. Its a good $$ value and tastes really good. Their side ceaser and regular salad are pretty good just ask to look at the packet for the carb count of the dressing, some of their dressings seem too high in carbs for me.

As for attempting to de-bread their nuggets I would forget it I tried once with DD's nugget and the breading seems to be all though it. I didn't end up eating it as I could not feel confident all that flour stuff was off.

Subway salads are good when out.
