i'm very frustrated. i weighed myself today after a week or so and i've gained weight! grrr. i feel like i'm doing something wrong. i just today started to workout for real at the gym, which obviously says alot..but i want to make sure i'm getting this dieting stuff right -- so i posted my menu for today and i want to know if this is acceptable or if it shows that i'm eating TOO much..which is another thing i think might be the culprit. i appreciate any and all advice/comments. thanks.

the foods except the jello are all legal but only you know if you over at your Atkins today. Were you hungry when you ate? if so did you stop before you ate it all to see if you wewre still hungry and wait a bit to see if you were? If you were not hungry and ate the food then yep you oveer ate cause the 6 hr rule says a small fat/protein snack with a few bites of your carbs.
remember weight loss isn't linear. you will look like a mountain range with peaks valleys and platues but the general tread will be downward.

i did an hour of the bike and some leg weights. i felt great. but i guess my question was more about caloric intake -- not so much satiation. is there a caloric intake cap or not? i mean, the book says not to count calories, but that calories count. well, duh..but i need a reference. any advice?current weight - 128

every body will have a different fuel need each day so no their is no cap on the amount other then as Dr Atkins tells us learn to feed only your hunger cause if you don't you can gain weight eating Atkins legal foods.by the book atkinseer

This question is just what i wanted to ask, my measurements are basically identiacal and i am starting today for the third time. First time was brilliant but the second time i picked up weight.
I know it says not to eat till your full, but especially for people who have suffered from eating disorders as I have previously, the ability to judge this simply does not exist.
Id really like to know from people in the same boat, a little to lose possibly 10lb -15lb, what is your daily calorie intake and how often do you exercise.
Id really like to know guys , simply because i am so scared of repeating the mistakes i made last time.
