    Re: my menu

It really seems like you aren't taking in enough food to sustain your habits. Your body is begging you for food and nutrients. Start eating a bit more food, more healthy oils and fats, and perhaps get a multi-vitamin.

      Re: my menu

      Hi
It would be better for you to have a little something shortly after you get out of bed in order to start your metabolism burning that fat!
It doesnt have to be the full monty (full english breakfast of eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes etc), just a few mouthfuls of a high fat/medium protein/low carb snack. When I started Atkineering I was like you and never ate anything before lunchtime, so I had to make myself eat just a bit to begin with. One slice of ham rolled up with a slice of cheese and 2 cherry tomatoes was my 'breakfast' to start with.

Now I eat about double that most mornings, sometimes a slice of flax bread with some ham or cheese, or a couple of boiled eggs and so on.

You should also be eating 3 cups of vegetables from the allowed lists spread out across the day to equalise any blood sugar 'spikes'. Dr Atkins told us to get over half of our 20 net carbs from them too!

Are your pains in the morning because of constipation? If so having your veggies should help that too!

But they might not be Atkins-related pains at all, so why not see your doctor in case you have something else causing these pains?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

          I wouldnt!
Part of the beauty of Atkins is that we are learning to eat real food not chemicals.

You could make some flax crackers with some of your 3 allowed servings of sweetener and maybe some cinnamon or other spices instead.
