  • Third time round and still confused

    Hi All

Id really appreciate some pointers on my last two days menus, I lost masses the first time and gained the second- to be honest i was eating to much cheese and snacking like furious on celery and mayo- i know i wasnt very strict with myself the second time. Knowing that im watching myself this time, but just want to make sure that im not being to lenient with my menu or portion sizes. Any help would be great.

    Wednesday:
Breakfast: 1 egg and a lump of butter

Lunch: 1 large egg, 1 medium slice swiss cheese, 6 radish and 1 stick celery

Snack: Decaf coffee with two tbs cream

Dinner: 200g steak with 2 stcik celery, handful rocket. Tbs mayo

Snack: Decaf coffee with two tbs cream

Fitday Percentages: 76% fat 3% carb 1111 calories 11 carbs

    Thursday:
    Breakfast: 1 egg butter

Lunch: 3 turkey rolls ( 50g gouda cheese rolled up with celery in turkey meat)and 1 tbs mayo

Dinner: 200g prawn and bacon grilled with 6 radishes and cup of celery

Snack: decaf coffee with 2 tbs cream

    Fitday percentages: 72% 2% carb 1094 calories 9 carbs

Is this too much fat and should i cut back on calories as i dont have much to lose and really really really dont want to gain it back.

Im running 45 min a week and working out with my fitball 3 times a week as well. Plus i do try and walk as much as i can on my breaks at work .

    Any help would be great.Thanks

You need to get your veggies in maybe?? It doesn't seem like you are eating very much, maybe try adding more veggies and see how it goes in a few days. Its ok to eat on this WOL. Have you read the DANDR?
What would we do without it?

    Mini-goal- 149 by June 1st. I can do it!!!

Started this WOL on Feb. 13, 2006.

Thanks Sunflower Girl. Im definently getting my three cups of veg, i have been weighing it.

I have read the book and still breeze through it every night before i go to bed. But being a "low fat" dieter most of my life I still struggle with the FAT intake, it still just feels wrong.

I have not weighed myself - im too scared to actually admit what my excessive eating and drinking at christmas has done to my body. but today for the first time in absolute ages despite a HUGE plate of shrinp bacon with veg and coffee with cream for dinner last night- my tummy feels as flat as an ironing board.
My boyfriend snuck up for a snuggle last night and put his arms around my waist- and was really surprise by how much weight id lost on my hips- i hadnt even noticed!!

STill confused and need advice but something does seem to be working.

It sounds as if things are coming together for you!

        Keep up the good work
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
