        Re: Take a look,please.

        Hi Michael
        Welcome to our ADBB family.

One thing I noticed is that your entries are not very specific.
By that I mean that something like this
Lettuce salad with egg, cheese, tomato, and/or carrots, with or without other vegetables, no dressing
as your food entry will not give a true representation of what you have eaten.
In that example did you eat carrots? how much egg? how much tomato? were there any other vegetables and if so which?
I have found it is much better to specify exactly what was in your salad item by item rather than just choose one of those general descriptions that fitday has.
        Likewise
Pork chop, broiled or baked, NS as to fat eaten
did you eat the fat on the chop? the 'NS as to fat eaten' probably means fitday did an average of the figures of a chop with fat eaten and fat not eaten which will not be necessarily be true to what you actually ate.
Better to avoid the 'NS' (not specified) entries and choose the more definite 'fat not eaten' or 'fat eaten' option to give a better picture of your menu.

Having said that, the March 1st entry shows you as having been light on your 3 cups of vegetables especially as it shows one cup of lettuce including all the other foods in the first quote I mentioned earlier, making your actual lettuce consumption well below one cup.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

          Re: Take a look,please.

          Elizellen,
Thank you for responding! I am still trying to figure out fitday.com. The salad was without carrots and tomatoes. But it did have a whole hb egg chopped up in it. The porkchop was with the fat.
Hopefully fitday will get easier the more I use it.
I have been watching the veggies so that I do not eat to much. However the salad had at least a cup of lettuce in it.
Thanks for suggesting I need to be more specific in my menu journal, I definitely see your point! Because I can now see the confusion and inaccuracy (laughing).
          Thanks again.

            Re: Take a look,please.

It took me ages to get to grips with fitday too!

I found that once I entered as 'custom foods' the foods I used often (but had to fiddle about with fitday's defaults to get them right) it made it much quicker to list my daily menus.
