  • 1monthj 1 week...sum questions

    so after being on intro for 1 month 1 week i decided to post some questions and I guess my menu I eat now...to ensure my idea of right is right. I know my body is always full over stuffed sometimes but I think eatting any less wouldnt be following it to well.

    Questions:
    * Cheese, used to love it, now dont eat it so much average 1-2 oz...do i really need 3-4 oz, my tummy doesnt want it.
    * Peperettes, 1carb...any good for me or a no no?
    *I consume lettuce lettuce and well more lettuce... I am turned off from all other veg right now..bad thing okay thing.

    My Menu for the day (usaully the same)

    Breakfast:
    1 lrg egg
    2 peices of bacon

    Lunch:
    1 cup of lettuce
    1tbsp of ceasar dressing

    Supper:
    2 cups of lettuce
    1.5 tbsp of caesar
    2 oz of shredded cheese
    3/4 cup of; chicken, steak or pork.

    leaving my totals around:
    67:30:3
    Cals 800
    Carbs 8
    HW: 314/SW: 280 - 5'11

    You should be eating better veggies. Lettuce is mostly just water with very little nutrients. Do you not like veggies like brocolli, cawliflower, asparagus...?

        actually if you are eating the dark green leaf lettuces you are getting some very good nutrition. iceberg while high in potassium is low in all else.

        Don't eat just to eat and definitely don't stuff yourself. you can make wiser choices about the nutritional intake of your foods and select smaller denser in nutrient foods like avacado which is high fat very rich in many nutrients and low carb. select a higher fat cut of meat so you get more bang for your portion when you are not eating much. when you are eating a lot switch it up.

        not many folk liked veggies when they were needing to start Atkins. the more exposure you get to them the more you will like them. children take about 5 exposures to veggies to get to like them. give yourself a chance and pick some off the lists you haven't tried and see if you like them and they like yo.

        peperettes? not familar with that cut of meat can you list the ingredients?

        you never have to eat cheese it says limited to 4 ounces not you got to eat that. the only got to is the salad vegies if you are going to eat anything else having carbs in it cause the majority of your carbs have to come from those 3 cups of veggies.

          What are peperettes?

          At least try to make sure your lettuce is mixed greens instead of just iceberg. Throw in some spinach or something. You could even add raw brocolli and cauliflower to your salad.

          You sure you aren't hungry? I didn't plug it in fitday but that doesn't seem to be much food. You could stand a few more (healthy) carbs in there.

          As for the cheese, don't force it on yourself. Use it if you want it or just leave it. I barely touch it unless I am eating something that I just really love it on...

          Be careful about not varying your menu too. You can get bored and then the temptations are worse. I am back on this WOE after a pregnancy and I am varying my menu ALOT more than before. I did well before but I was so bored with it by the time I got to goal. Also the variation helps insure a wider variety of nutrients. Are you on a supplement?

          Seems like you are doing something right! Your progress is great!

            yeah i eat the dark green stuff. I am not bored with it i love caesar salad like i am used to eatting it once a day b4 this diet lol. The thought of pastas breads sugar makes my tummy turn...so im not worried bout that much but if i do find myself getting bored i will switch it up and im going to try to get other vrgs.

            Nope not hungry content. my body lets me know when i am hungry I generally have a food around. prepair for everythiing.

            Peperettes, uhm u may call them something else..there peperoni sticks the lil one :P

                okay then you need to check your ingredients like Elizellen said and see if they are legal or not. some pepperoni is legal and some isn't.
