  • I am lost for ways to improve.

    Hi all

Nearing my 14th day of induction but not getting the results i got so well the first time on Atkins. Am i doing something wrong- please review my menu and let me know if im eating too much. My boyfriend is making the most revolting comments about my FAT filled plate and really putting me down, im determined to prove to him that this works , but will be horrified if i actually end up putting on weight.

    Please help!

    Hi Savannah
That didnt work as it is fitday's general url.
You need to click on the 'home' tab once you have logged into fitday and scroll right down to the bottom of that page then click on 'make my journal public'
then you will be given a specific url that you can copy and paste here (maybe into your signature block?) will allow us to see your numbers etc.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Was the coffee regular or decaf? I'm pretty sure string beans aren't in induction. Are you drinking anough water?

To be completely honest they are string beans they are mangetout- well thats what we call them in London, they arent string beans- does any one know if they are allowed, im pretty sure the book said yes, they are only 0.5 carbs for 50g. I just had to put something equivalent in fitday cause they didnt have mage tout.

The coffee is decaf and i drink just over 2 litres of water every day- pretty standard for me. Should i be drinking more??

mange tout, can also be referred to as "snap peas" or something like that.

You've got to love the US v UK differences.

AHA Richt but Wait. Sugar snap peas are not the same thing. You gotta love nature and the cultural differences for throwing us all these curve balls!!!

Snap peas are sweeter and fatter , mange tout are flat! Any idea wether they are lagal , bacause they are lovely raw.

Re: I am lost for ways to improve.

I have been so good actually and just want to take the opportunity now actually to pat my wee self on the back.

I defeated DANGER DAY and have not a sinele drop of booze ora single biscuit, non- induction food for 13 and a half days. Im super chuffed with that achievement, i feel like i have my self control back. I would like to see more weight loss onviously, im firming up nicely though, my thighs to slowly for words, but my six pack is peeking out nicely and my knees are inches smaller. Im still running but have been horrendously sick this week so havent run as much as i would have liked.

I am doing alot of FITBALL exercising- that works wonders for anyone interested. Wow what an easy way to workout at home, but wow what a real workout.

As long as your happy that my menu is not at fault at all, i guess i should just plough on as is then with the same menu?
