  • help my menu plz

    Hello everyone, I have been reading a lot about everyone elses menus and with every post so far the person is doing something wrong. I don't want to be one of those people So I am going to jot down one of mine and please don't go easy on me. Let me know what I'm doing wrong.
    I had my weight checked at the doctors office approx. 2 weeks ago and was 285lbs. I started low carbing 3/18/06 and Induction on 3/20/06
    So far I'm down about 10 pounds.

    Breakfast : 7:45am 2-eggs, 1-cheese, 2-bacon
    Lunch : time varries 1/2 cup-meat, 1 cup-sliced veggies, 2 tbsp.-veggie dip
    Dinner : 6:30pm 1 cup-meat, 1 cup-veggie

    On days that I have done really well and have a lot of carbs left over I treat myself to a no sugar juice pop - 7 carbs (not too offten tho)

    You look pretty good. Feel free to add more veggies in there. Juice pops are not appropriate for induction sugar free or not, you'll have to wait until you've finished and moved up the OWL rungs (probably berries, or somesuch, I would assume). Other than that, drink your water!

      How about some veggies with your eggs? I scramble up my eggs with bacon or sausage or leftover steak and throw in some spinach, or peppers or mushrooms, or all of the above. Of course, topped with cheese!!

        If you wait and save up yours carbs for all at once it'll cause your blood sugar to rise from what I can tell, the book recommends that you spread them out throughout the day.
