First four days menu....How am I doing?

  • First four days menu....How am I doing?

    Thursday
    Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs, 2 Pieces of Turkey bacon
    Snack - One stick of celery, dipped in sour cream.
    Lunch - 1 cup salad with one boiled egg, few califlower and cucumber peices, olive oil and vinegar.
    Dinner - Piece of Hamburger (just the meat ya know) and 1 cup of salad, same as lunch, but with one ounce of grated cheese



    Friday
    Breakfast - 2 Hard boiled eggs, 6 cucumber slices with small amount of salt
    Snack - Two small pieces of plain, homemade Beef jerky.
    Lunch - Cup of salad, same as before but with broccoli also.
    Dinner - Small piece of hamburger, cup and a half (combined) of cut up cucumbers, peppers and califlower


    Saturday
    Breakfast - 2 eggs, 3 pieces of turkey bacon
    Snack - 1/2 cup Cucumber slices with one ounce of cream cheese
    Lunch - Cup of Salad with spinach leaves, boiled egg and swiss cheese.
    Dinner - 9 ounces of steak, cup of salad with celery, tomato and pepper



    Sunday
    Breakfast - 2 Eggs, 3 pieces of turkey bacon
    Snack - One ounce cream cheese on celery stick
    Lunch - 2 cups cut up veggies...Cucumber, peppers, celery, broccoli...no dressing.
    Dinner - 9 ounce steak, cup of salad with tomatos and garlic.

    And then all the time I've been drinking between 70-100+ ounces of water a day...

    I think your menu's look pretty good. The only thing I'd suggest is to really measure your veggies and make sure you're following the rules of induction. Like, it's 2-3 cups of the 'salad' veggies (which includes much more then just lettuces) or 2 cups from the salad list plus 1 cup from the 'other' acceptable veggie list. You should try to eat some fat and protein too with your meals. I noticed one lunch you had just veggies.

    What we aim for on induction is around 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs most of which come from the acceptable veggie lists. There's a free program called www.fitday.com that can help you see where things are at.

    Overall, not too bad!
