  • First day Back On ATKINS!!

    Okay I was spring cleaning so I didn't eat breakfast or lunch but I ate for a snack:
    17 pepporoni slices w/ pepper jack cheese on them

    dinner:
    2 hamburger patty's with a slice of pepper jack cheese on them

    drink:
    nothing but WATER

    and I am about to walk a mile and get on my ab lounger but, was my menu okay?

    Welcome back, Anjelique

    no veggies?????? They are important to keep you 'regular' and add vital nutrients. You need to eat 3 cups of them (check the allowed list).

    Also pepperoni can contain a large amount of salt which makes some people retain water and therefore see an increase in scales weight.

      Okay thank you, I didn't know if pepporoni was safe or not, I mean with all the sodium. Thank You, and I will eat more veggies, I just didn't eat any today because I was busy and didn't feel like heating them up, but Thanks!

        Also, if you're induction cheese is limited to 3-4 ounces a day; generally one slice is one ounce. I'm not sure how much cheese you were eating with your pepperoni, but be careful about that too. And don't forget, veggies veggies veggies.
