O.k. I am new and have spent every free moment back and forth between the atkins book and these forums. I am a very picky eater and need ideas of what to eat. I will make alist of things I like and if someone would be so helpful in helping me makie a menu I would be so grateful!!! from the induction list I will eat:
chicken (only white meat and not off a bone)
    beef
some prok, bacon, ham, trying venison, and eggs
cheddar, cream, mozzarella and swiss cheese
peppers, celery, lettuce, romaine lettuce, cucumber, scallions, spinach leaves,
    broccoli, water chestnuts, cauliflower, onion,

My problem also is I am an office manager for a Doctor so our lunches are usually brought in, from the same place everyday a local resturant where we know the chef pretty well. I usually order a cobb salad which is all kinds of greens, grilled chicken, egg, cheese, bacon, tomatoes and homemade ranch dressing? Is this a good choice for lunch? I always ask for everything on the side so I can measure it out!! ( I used to do weight watchers).

I am just unsure of how to put a menu together!! I usually always eat my meat with some ketcup or A-1 any suggstions on what to put on it?

I also loved delived eggs but I was taught to make them with sweet pickle relish, so any help ther too would be great!!

another thing I am worried about everyone talking about the induction flu? I get horrible migraines and am wondering if I should hold off until Thursday or Friday to start? Any ways to avoid these?

Thanks for letting me ask all these questions!! I want to start off right!!
I know to count carbs, just stay under 20 net carbs.. This is all so new to me and I think I am on information overload!!!

    Re: Questions

Have you looked at the recipe forums? You can find TONS of ideas there!

You can take pretty much any meat and vegetable and throw them together in either a stir fry or a casserole type dish.

There's a great recipe for mashed cauliflower. It tastes just like mashed potatoes, if not better.

You can add anything to a salad. Lettuce, diced chicken, cheese, tomatoes.. or get creative and add other stuff.

Hot wings are really good. Just make sure you use a sugar-free hot sauce.

You can add any vegetable to an omelette if you're tired of the same old eggs.

Taco salad is good. It's basically a taco without the shell. You can have lettuce, ground beef, tomatoes, and even some sour cream.

    Egg salad, tuna salad..

Try stuffing a pepper or tomato with your choice of meat, vegetables and spices.

    The possibilities are literally ENDLESS!

      Re: Questions

To answer your other question, I have my own way that I cook steak.

I take the thawed steak and put it in a HOT pan. I'll cook it maybe 2 minutes on each side until it's nice and brown. Then, I'll turn down the heat to medium low and add a bunch of water. The water ends up reducing into a really nice sauce. You can add whatever seasonings you like. Personally, I love lemon pepper.
