Need a little help for dinner

I am going to cook filet mignon and asparagus for dinner...adding potatoes for hubby. I would like to make a sauce with red wine and balsamic but I left my book at work. Is this ok? I am on induction.

Balsamic vinegar is the one kind of vinegar Dr Atkins told us NOT to have in the allowed list. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6781

Red wine would not be 'legal' till the alcohol rung/level of OWL, so no sauce for you if you want to stay on-plan
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Thanks so much for answering. Unfortunately, I already seasoned the beef tho. I only added 1 tbsp of each and I will have to live with it for now.

Can't wait to get my book tomorrow and read it from cover to cover!

One thing I did to help myself know what I could and could not eat on induction was to print out the list of allowed foods (there is a sticky in the FAQs forum you can save to your computer for this purpose) and take a copy with me when shopping or eating out so I could take a quick look to make sure all I was buying or ordering would be legal for me.
There is also a handy dandy 'wallet sized' list on the 14-day induction forum you can save and print out.
Try to get into the habit of looking at your list before eating anything to stop inadvertent cheats!!
Stick a copy of the list up in your kitchen too!!
